Current Resource Development ProjectsResource Development Project 1: Living Fully with Multiple SclerosisThe MSRRTC, in collaboration with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, published a self-help book entitled, The MS Workbook: Living Fully with Multiple Sclerosis. Since publication in 2006, over 7,000 books have been sold. In response to the positive reception of this training material, we are increasing accessibility to this important information by developing a series of web-based educational components, including a set of Frequently Asked Questions that cover topics from the workbook. Resource Development Project 2: Structured Training Modules for Self Management of Multiple Sclerosis SymptomsThis training project is directed to service providers. We are developing a series of structured training modules which focus on reducing secondary symptoms of MS, including pain, fatigue, depression and cognitive limitations. Each module is designed to guide service providers through interventions. Modules include:
Completed modules will be made available nationally through the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in order to achieve the widest dissemination. |
