Financial Planning & EmploymentMultiple Sclerosis (MS) has a significant impact on employment and participation for individuals living with MS. It is of public health importance to understand factors that tip the balance between fuller, more active participation and withdrawal from employment and other activities. Identifying characteristics that predict change and developing targeted interventions could increase the level of participation in preferred activities, including employment, among individuals living with MS. The overall goal of this training and dissemination project was to generate employment assistance materials for individuals living with MS. In addition, we have published results from our employment research which are also listed here. The main outcome of this training project was The MS Workbook. This is an affordable, user friendly workbook designed for people living with MS. You can also view some summarized content from the workbook by following this link as well.
